*For your convenience, advanced packet pick-up will be available at the Royal Oak High School main lobby on Friday, May 3rd from 5-8 PM.

Directions and Parking

Starr Jaycee Park is located on the south side of 13 Mile Road between Main and Crooks, two miles east of Woodward Avenue in Royal Oak, MI (click here for directions).

MOM Race parking is first-come, first-serve in the two Starr Jaycee Park lots off of 13 Mile, in the residential neighborhoods surrounding the race course (please obey all parking regulations including temporary no parking zones associated with the race), and in designated lots north of the park. Runners/walkers are to meet at the large Starr Jaycee Park shelter (equipped with restrooms) for same-day registration and packet pick-up beginning at 8 AM on race morning. Participants who pick up their packets in advance can meet at the start/finish line on the south side of the park at Cedar & Butternut at 9:45 AM.

Course Map

The MOM race will start and end at the intersection of Cedar and Butternut on the south side of Starr Jaycee Park. The residential road race will take place in the Royal Oak neighborhoods between Crooks Road & Main Street and 12 & 13 Mile Roads. The MOM 5K course was certified by USA Track & Field (USATF) on March 23, 2012.
